Clues of the Good News (Family Bible Study)

Put on your detective caps to uncover “Clues of the Good News” by exploring Old Testament truths that lead to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Create an investigation board with the clues we provide and read the daily verses and devotional. While you read, the kids can complete one activity page per day to make their own Good News booklet.

This study is designed to be flexible enough to meet your family’s needs. You get to pick and choose which elements of this study are best for your family.

Here’s what’s included with each of the 15 Bible readings:

• READ IT: a short Bible passage to read.

• REPRESENT IT: a drawing page for kids to complete while reading (see sample photo).

• REPORT THE FACTS: a time to encourage kids to tell you what they noticed.

• REFRAME IT: a short explanation to explain the Jesus-connection (see sample photo).

• RESPOND IN PRAYER: a prayer prompt.

• RECORD THE CLUE: a clue that kids can cut out. They can use the clues to create a clue board on your wall, a mirror, or a bulletin board (see sample photo).
